Chorizo from Portugal

Portuguese chouriço — cured pork sausage seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic, and red wine. Distinct from Spanish chorizo: slightly firmer, often with a deeper red wine note. Slice and eat with crusty bread and olives, or pan-sear and serve over rice and beans.
